Developed in partnership with itSM Solutions and UMass Lowell, the NCSF-CFM workforce development program is designed to help federal agencies and private industry learn the knowledge, skills and abilities to operationalize the NIST Cybersecurity Framework across an enterprise and its supply chain. All NCSF-CFM trainings are aligned with the recently released NICE Cybersecurity Workforce Framework (NCWF).  Successful completion of the certification demonstrates that knowledge was transferred from the course and further guarantees effectiveness of the training.

Certifications demonstrate proven competency in critical fields of industry.  Employers and customers are offered assurance that certified professionals have the knowledge required to perform their roles effectively.

Foundation:

NCSF-CFM Foundation Certification exam follows the one day program that teaches NCSF fundamentals and the UMass Lowell Controls Factory™ Model. The program is targeted at IT and Business professionals who need a basic understanding of the NIST Cybersecurity Framework and its role within an organization. The program can be delivered in a classroom, virtual classroom or as a self-paced video program. Students complete this program by participating in the online certification exam.

NCSF-CFM Practitioner Certification exam follows the four day program that teaches the advanced skills necessary to engineer, operate and manage the business risk of a NIST Cybersecurity Framework program. The program is designed for IT and Business professionals who will play an active role in the NCSF program. The program can be delivered in a classroom, virtual classroom or as a self-paced video program. Students complete this program by participating in the online certification exam.
